These controllers are built for Nintendo Switch 2. We do not advertise compatibility with the original Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED, or Nintendo Switch Lite.
Your custom made controllers from Shellify are not official colorways that Nintendo produces for sale. However, we build each custom unit using genuine brand new sealed Nintendo controllers, and install the selected shell and/or button configuration before shipment.
Most custom builds are made to order. Turnaround time begins after the order is placed and can vary during high-volume periods.
All controllers come with a 60-day workmanship warranty. This covers any defects in our assembly or parts. Normal wear and tear or damage from drops is not covered.
Yes. Every controller is inspected and tested after assembly before it ships.
Yes, we accept returns within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee of $15 applies per Joy-Con. A $30 restocking fee applies per Joy-Con pair. Customers are responsible for return shipping, or we can provide a prepaid label deducted from your refund. See our complete Return Policy below.
If your order has not entered production yet, we may be able to update or cancel it. Once work has started, changes may not be possible. Contact us as soon as possible at help@shellify.me.
Currently, we only sell complete Joy-Cons with custom shells. We do not offer a swap service where you send us your controllers. You will receive brand new Joy-Cons with your chosen custom shells installed.
Yes! Your order includes the custom Joy-Con controller plus the original stock shells or buttons that were replaced, so you have the original parts if needed. We only start your build with genuine brand new sealed controllers, never refurb like others.
Cosmetic shell and button modifications are intended to preserve normal controller function. Every build is assembled and tested before shipment.
Contact us right away at help@shellify.me with your order number and clear photos or video of the issue. We'll review it and help with the next steps.
At this time, we do not offer mail-in shell swap, refurbishment, or re-customization services unless specifically announced.
Previews are intended to show the closest representation of your chosen configuration. Slight differences in color appearance may happen because of lighting, screen settings, and material finish.
Return Policy
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- • Single Joy-Cons: $15 restocking fee
- • Pair Joy-Cons: $30 restocking fee
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- • In the same condition you received it
- • Unused
- • In its original packaging
- • Accompanied by receipt or proof of purchase
The buyer is responsible for sending the product back. If you'd like us to provide a prepaid shipping label, the cost will be deducted from your refund.
If we receive a used item, a full refund will not be given. We will assess the condition and determine the appropriate refund amount based on damage and/or use.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at help@shellify.me if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We'll evaluate the issue and make it right.
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the original item, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded (less restocking fees) to your original payment method within 10 business days. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or credit card company.
